The University is now seeking to appoint a Director, Learning and Teaching Transformation who will work closely with the Pro Vice-Chancellor Academic Innovation to lead initiatives around teaching and learning innovation and quality at UNE. UNE strives to offer lifelong learners the most flexible, personal and transformative learning experience in Australia, supported by cutting edge technologies and teaching methods, and by an Australian-wide network of online teachers and mentors reflecting world-class academic, education and professional expertise.

The successful candidate will demonstrate experience developing and managing educational initiatives around curriculum renewal and pedagogies for high-quality learning and student engagement. They will have a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities associated with online learning and learning technologies as well as a commitment to providing high quality student academic support.  They will be bold, innovative and enterprising, being prepared to challenge norms and expectations and drive cultural transformation in teaching and learning at an institutional level.
