Do you want to help grow our work in Agricultural Livelihoods? Are you that restless doer, driven by curiosity, enthusiasm and a desire to create a better everyday life for many people? We are currently seeking experienced and enthusiastic individuals to join our newly established “Agricultural Livelihoods” portfolio as a Programme Manager. You will be responsible for funding (grants) and monitoring initiatives within the Agricultural Livelihoods portfolio, positioned between the broader themes of “protecting the planet” (i.e. climate change) and “affording a better life” (i.e. livelihoods). Together with the other members of the team, you give interpretation to this newly formed strategy on Agricultural Livelihoods and help spend available funding as responsibly and effectively as possible, and to contribute optimally to the mission and vision of the IKEA Foundation.
Successful candidates will have strong analytical and strategic skills and experience in working with agricultural livelihoods and climate change themes e.g. food security and nutrition, and agricultural value chain development. Perhaps most importantly, the successful individuals will demonstrate a strong commitment to the vision, mission and values of the IKEA Foundation.
