We are now seeking our next Vice-Chancellor and President and inviting candidates who will bring strategic vision and flair, along with an alignment to the founding principles and ethos of the University of York. The University and its Council share the aspiration that York should become a beacon for inclusivity and diversity; it is essential that the next Vice-Chancellor and President shares this ambition and these values. Leadership skills must combine with an open and values-based approach to engaging with the University community. Candidates will need to demonstrate experience of challenging the status quo, inspiring colleagues in the process of making choices, identifying resources and pursuing ambitious goals.
