Just over five years after launch, and with strong achievements in research, fundraising and advocacy under our belt, we are now seeking a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead our organisation into its next phase of growth and development. We are seeking an outstanding individual to take on this exciting and impactful role. Working with our talented staff, and reporting to the Board of Trustees, the CEO will lead development, execution and assessment of the organisation’s strategies, goals and objectives, and will ensure the sustainability and success of our charity in the longer term. 

The successful candidate will bring an open and inclusive leadership style, and the energy, maturity and experience to coordinate MQ’s powerful assets to deliver our ambitious goals. S/he will have an understanding of the charity sector, coupled with highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, resilience and gravitas. Our next CEO will demonstrate strong fundraising, marketing and entrepreneurial skills, as well as an ability to grasp key research concepts and communicate them to diverse audiences in seeking to broaden the reach of MQ. Perhaps most importantly, s/he will be deeply committed to the mission of MQ to transform the lives of everyone affected by mental illness.
