Malaria No More UK (MNM UK) is part of a global movement that is determined to make ours the generation that beats this killer. To realise this vision, we are mobilising a powerful network of governments, influencers, businesses and the public, inspiring them to commit funds, energy and resources to ending deaths from malaria and wiping out the disease for good.
We are a small and ambitious team, each contributing to winning the fight to ending malaria, saving millions of lives and eradicating the poverty that this disease causes to so many. During our 10-year existence UK government malaria investment has trebled; last year we convened the Malaria Summit, reaching over one billion people with our ‘Malaria Must Die’ campaign, delivering $4.1bn of investment to the global fight from governments and the private sector, and a momentous commitment from 53 leaders to halve malaria in 5 years.
Malaria No More UK is now seeking an exceptional leader to build a new area of our work developing and establishing the strategic programmatic partnerships that will enable us to deliver this historic goal. Situated at the heart of the organisation, working between and through fundraising, advocacy and communication your role will be to identify, craft and develop the partnerships that enable MNMUK to create the international coalition required.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape the growth of a small, powerful and agile organisation. You will bring a strong track record and background in partnership development and sustainable income generation, and programmatic implementation. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proven relationship building and influencing skills with the ability to engage with a multitude of senior level, high profile stakeholders, and an ability to think strategically, translating the partnerships into practical engagement. Most importantly, you will be a dynamic self-starter, a team player, with an innovative and entrepreneurial approach.
The deadline for applications is 9am GMT on Tuesday 26th February.
