If based in London a competitive salary of circa £70,000 with excellent benefits with equivalent competitive salary and benefits if based within South Asia

Do you want to use your regional expertise in programming, advocacy and fundraising in order to play a vital role in making clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene normal for everyone everywhere? If so, please consider applying to be our next Regional Director, South Asia. We are seeking a leader with deep knowledge of the South Asia context, who will support our four country offices and work closely with WaterAid India, to drive our strategy forward. As a member of the International Programmes leadership team, you will partner effectively with fellow regional leads and will support our dynamic federation to achieve our mission.

WaterAid is seeking an expert, entrepreneurial and committed individual for this role. The right candidate will be an inspirational and empowering leader with a successful track record of working at the regional level in South Asia to deliver change. You will understand how to engage and influence a range of actors, with a track record of impactful partnerships in the past across the likes of local and national government, donors, regional and continental bodies and grassroots movements. You will have demonstrable experience in international development, having worked on programmes, ideally in the WASH sector. You will also have managed teams and budgets with the ability to deliver tangible results through your leadership. Most importantly, you will have a strong commitment to WaterAid’s values and a working style that reflects these.
