The Headship of Windlesham House School is one of the most exceptional leadership roles in preparatory education.

With its beautiful grounds, first-rate facilities, outstanding pastoral care and vibrant academic and co-curricular programmes, Windlesham combines considerable existing strengths with bold ambitions. The School has flourished under the leadership of Richard and Rachel Foster and is now poised on the cusp of an exciting new phase in its evolution.

The Governing Body seeks a strategic and inspirational 21st century leader to maintain and develop Windlesham as the school of choice. This is an exciting opportunity to lead Windlesham and shape the future of one of the UK’s pre-eminent preparatory schools.

An engaging and authentic leader, the successful candidate will be a compelling ambassador for Windlesham, possessing the vision and strategic skills to lead the School with purpose and ambition. Blending respect for existing strengths with an appetite for innovation, the next Head will balance the demands of modern headship with an educational vision which celebrates learning and cherishes childhood. A track record of successful senior leadership experience and outstanding communication skills are essential, as is a genuine commitment to Windlesham’s ethos and values.
