A unique opportunity now exists for a senior academic leader to take on the role of Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Student Life). Located within the Chancellery and reporting to the Provost, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Student Life) will play a key role in setting a vision to further develop the student experience at Melbourne across a range of areas including but not limited to: student welfare and wellbeing, engagement, care on campus, extra-curricular and cultural activities, societies, residential, etc. Key to the portfolio will be the strengthening of a culture of inclusion, diversity, and community. The ideal candidate will have had significant experience leading a complex academic unit and a deep appreciation of the importance of student-centric approaches to the core academic business of the University.
