Lambrook School is one of the UK’s finest co-educational preparatory schools. Set in breathtaking grounds in the heart of the Berkshire countryside, we are an independent day and boarding school providing outstanding opportunities and educational outcomes for children aged 3 to 13 years.

Founded in 1860, we pride ourselves on a rich history of success within an environment that seeks to provide children with an academic, creative and well-rounded experience. Our focus is on making sure that this experience is preserved for generations to come and that the School can move forward into the future with confidence and continued relevance.

On the retirement of Gareth Jones after eleven years of outstanding service, we seek a new Director of Finance and Operations to work closely with the Headmaster to support the School’s objectives and ambitions. A qualified accountant, he or she will provide strong financial, strategic and operational leadership and will steer through a number of exciting projects. The appointee will be highly strategic with a proven ability to generate new income streams and think commercially. He or she will be a visible and empowering leader, possessing the organisational abilities and interpersonal skills to lead a high level of operational delivery and develop staff in their roles. An ethos of continuous improvement and service to others, and a commitment to Lambrook’s values is essential.
