We are excited to be appointing our first Executive Director, Research Operations. Reporting to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research), Professor Duncan Ivison, the position will provide the appointee with the opportunity to drive a program of operational integration and constant improvement with an overarching end-to-end approach to research development. This will ensure outstanding systems and support across the research development journey from pre- to post-award. Both operationally astute and strategically minded, the appointee will be a transformational leader, with their finger firmly on the pulse of best practice in research operations, proven stakeholder management skills, and the maturity to mentor, coach, and shape the relevant teams (Commercial Development & Industry Partnerships; Research Development and Collaboration; Research Grants and Contracts) in an ambitious and collaborative manner.
