We’re building a global climate movement.

350.org is an international NGO that is building a global grassroots movement to solve the climate crisis. Our online campaigns, grassroots organising, and mass public actions are led by volunteer organisers in over 188 countries. We view ourselves as a laboratory for testing new ideas to strengthen the climate movement and catalyse transformation around the world.

Having grown and evolved over 10 years, we are now looking for an ambitious, inspiring and strategic Regional Director to oversee the long-term planning, campaigning and growth across a broad and varied region, provide inspiring guidance and leadership to a multinational and passionate staff, and support a strong and growing climate movement in the region.

The Regional Director for Europe, Turkey and EECCA (Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia) will provide strategic leadership, programmatic direction and growth, for all programs and operations within the region, including overall guidance to a multinational staff, with the purpose of supporting and scaling up a strong climate movement in the regions stopping fossil fuel expansion and accelerating a just transition to renewable energy for all.

This person will also collaborate on the development of global strategy for 350.org, and lead DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) work within the movement.

The ideal candidate will bring a track record managing a cross-cultural team, a proven ability to operationalise mass campaigns or public activism strategies, significant experience with movements across the region and extensive understanding of the realities and cultural diversities across the region.
