The European Society of Endodontology (ESE) is a non-profit federal organisation with global reach and impact focused on the broad field of Endodontology, the branch of dental sciences dealing with health, injuries to and diseases of the dental pulp (the ‘living centre’ of the tooth) and periradicular region (around the root tip), and their relationship with general health and wellbeing. The Society exists to promote the development of Endodontology to benefit society, patients, Endodontists, General Dentists, Educators, Researchers and those in training, as well as to represent Endodontology and Endodontists within Europe. The ESE is a vibrant and dynamic organisation consisting of 36 member-societies spanning across 33 European countries and represents over 7500 ordinary members and over 500 individual specialist, certified, guest, dental nurse and postgraduate student members.

ESE seeks to appoint an Administrator to support the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Executive Board in ensuring that the Society’s mission, aims, objectives and strategic goals are achieved. The Administrator will be line-managed by the COO and will undertake duties to support the COO, Executive Board, Committees and General Assembly that are compatible with their knowledge, skills and experience.

The Administrator’s main responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope. In addition, the Administrator performs a large array of other essential administrative and clerical duties, such as scheduling and coordinating meetings and visits, organizing events such as major congresses and meetings, organizing files, handling email correspondence. It is essential that the Administrator has experience of financial book-keeping and use of web-based financial software packages.
