With a significant investment by Dragon Capital and the University of Exeter, the Business School now seeks to appoint the Dragon Capital Chair in Biodiversity Economics to address the central question of how individuals and organisations value natural resources. An internationally recognised scholar, they will be a member of the Department of Economics and will work closely with colleagues in the Land, Environment, Economics and Policy Institute (LEEP) to develop new knowledge, innovation and understanding related to biodiversity economics. The successful candidate will demonstrate world-leading and world-changing research with outputs consistently recognised as internationally excellent, have the ability to communicate research and engage fully with non-academic audiences through high quality policy, advisory and media work, and develop internal and external networks to foster collaboration.
