We are seeking to appoint a distinguished senior academic as Associate Dean (External Engagement) to enhance the external profile of the faculty and provide leadership in all areas of external engagement. Under the direction of the Dean, the Associate Dean (External Engagement) will lead the faculty’s engagement foremost with industry, but also with other
entities across the University, other Universities nationally and internationally, government organisations, NGOs, and the general public. We are looking for someone who is creative and passionate about external engagement in engineering related fields and operates at the forefront of innovation in the disciplines of engineering.

Term and remuneration
It is the intention that the Associate Dean term be for four years. This will be constructed as an initial two year appointment followed by a performance evaluation and a potential further two year appointment. This position will also be supported by an underlying continuing position. A competitive salary will be negotiated with the successful applicant. Relocation assistance may also be provided if required.
