Colegio Palacio de Granda (PdG) is a co-educational day and boarding school providing an excellent bilingual education for more than 500 pupils aged 1 to 18 years in the province of Asturias in Spain. Part of the International Schools Partnership (ISP), a growing group of schools from across the globe, PdG offers plentiful opportunities for pupils to reach their full potential in their academic work, wider skills and interests, preparing them for success in whatever future path they choose.

ISP is now seeking an outstanding learning-focused Head to build on PdG’s achievements to date and lead the School with drive and ambition into the next stage of its development. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the continued growth of a distinctive bilingual educational institution within Spain.

The appointed candidate will combine a track record of highly successful senior leadership experience with the authority and personal impact to inspire staff and pupils alike at PdG and contribute to the broader direction of ISP. The next Head will be a creative thinker and outstanding communicator, who is committed to academic excellence, promoting character development and nurturing a global mindset. S/he will be a visible leader of learning, with the strategic and ambassadorial skills to further grow the School and enhance its bilingual and global perspectives, within the overall goals of making it the School of Choice within its catchment area. A proactive willingness to embrace the many benefits of being part of ISP and fluency in English and Spanish are essential.
