With the appointment of our new Vice-Chancellor Professor Nishan Canagarajah, this is an exciting time to join our historical University.

As a senior member of the University, you will advance the University’s profile in world-class research and enterprise in an increasingly competitive environment both nationally and internationally. 

Working closely with the Pro-Vice Chancellor for Research and Enterprise you will represent and promote the University to create the right institutional environment to enable the University to be at the forefront of global leading research and innovative enterprise. Working within a regulatory/procedural framework, you will manage and control substantial budgets/resources and funding.

As an inspiring leader with significant experience in research and enterprise, you will motivate key stakeholders internal and external to the University to implement a strategy that has a positive effect on the university. In addition, you will need to demonstrate strong influencing; negotiating skills and commercial creativity to maintain and improve the University's top 20 enterprise income position.

The Selection Committee will be supported in this appointment process by the executive search firm Perrett Laver.
