A unique opportunity now exists for a senior academic leader to take on the role of Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic). Located within the Chancellery and reporting to the Provost, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) will play a key role in the evolution of the Melbourne Model and the formulation of the University’s next strategic plan. (S)he will be charged to advance all aspects of the University’s curriculum offerings and access to academic programs, as well as navigating and influencing regulatory systems and higher education policies.

The ideal candidate will hold significant relevant experience gained at scale in a complex academic environment, such that will enable them to operate as a member of the senior team. They will be able to demonstrate a deep commitment to educational excellence along with outstanding personal academic standing.
