Project Manager, Perrett Laver

These are the qualities you will possess joining us as Project Manager in our Hong Kong office. In this vital role, you will oversee Perrett Laver’s internal delivery teams working on our clients’ appointments, ensuring quality and providing the primary channel for process and administrative communications with clients and candidates on all work. Working closely with the Managing Partners and consulting team, you will take ownership of and responsibility for client account relationship management, typically handling a portfolio of around 30 projects simultaneously.
You will also be part of Perrett Laver’s continued growth and expansion in Greater China, as we expand our operations in the Greater Bay Area through the establishment of an office in Shenzhen in 2020. It is likely that you will also play a key role in the evolution of our operations as we adopt cloud-based tools and seek to continually improve our services to candidates and clients.
The role requires a person of considerable talent and commitment who has the ability and highly developed organisational skills to proactively juggle multiple tasks and perform them with accuracy, along with excellent attention to detail and the initiative to solve problems. Excellent time management skills, the ability to prioritise, multitask and remain calm and professional under pressure are all keys to success. There is substantial contact with both clients and candidates, so highly developed interpersonal and communication skills are essential, including a strong customer service ethos, both internally and externally and an appreciation of the importance of responsibility, discretion and integrity.
You will be degree-educated and, as such, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. You are highly organized, with an outstanding attention to detail, you will share our passion for consistently delivering excellent quality work with an impeccable service-minded approach. With first-class people skills, you will be articulate and clear, both in person and on the telephone, and confident liaising with leaders at the most senior level. Solutions-focused and results-driven, you will thrive on challenge, remain calm under pressure and handle all situations appropriately with care and integrity. As you will be at the heart of the business, it is crucial that you are positive, enthusiastic and a great team player, as yet, highly capable of working independently.
