The School of Mathematics, Computer Science & Engineering is a multi-disciplinary centre of research and education located in the heart of London’s vibrant design community. It is proud of its research advances and of educating thousands of undergraduates and postgraduates in STEM subjects.

The School is seeking to appoint a Deputy Dean to provide academic leadership and support change management in the School, working with the Dean and Associate Deans. He or she will hold specific responsibilities for developing education performance, growth in our offers for revenue generation, staff development, and workplace culture and practices.

The appointed candidate will have a PhD in a STEM subject; a record of leading successful programme development, providing thought leadership in educational pedagogy, demonstrable success in research collaboration within academia, and industry and membership of a relevant professional body. An enthusiasm for delivering high quality education is essential along with experience in HE leadership.  Candidates will also have an understanding of diversity and equality including the principles of the Athena SWAN charter.
