Canterbury Christ Church University is recognised as a leader in education, research and enterprise that supports the South East region’s growth and economy, building on our heritage as a globally connected, dynamic and innovative University, delivering an excellent and inclusive experience that provides enterprising, professional graduates.
This is a fantastic time to join us. Our STEM provision is expanding with innovative new courses, facilities and research, including the opening of a £65m building on our city campus later this year. Our new facility brings together STEM subjects critical to growth in the South East - science, technology, health, engineering and medicine - including the Kent and Medway Engineering, Design, Growth and Enterprise (EDGE) Hub, supported by significant investment from the Office for Students and South East Local Enterprise Partnership.
The Faculty is driving innovative education and research in science, engineering and social sciences to address regional skills shortages, promote social mobility in higher education and diversify the workforce.
Working collaboratively and proactively with industry, employers and partners, the Faculty is at the forefront of exciting initiatives, from degree apprenticeships in policing, business and engineering, to internationally recognised research in psychology, social sciences and politics.
In this role, you will influence the regional STEM education landscape, develop industry and partner collaboration for an exceptional student experience, bring innovative thinking and new ways of working to the Faculty, and across disciplines, and work collegiately as part of the University’s Executive team. We are looking for someone who shares our ethos and is excited about our vision for change.
