Salary & Benefits: Dependent upon experience and qualifications: The commencing salary will be within the range £34,804 - £51,034 per annum for a lecturer/senior lecturer appointment. Salary will be in the range £52,559 - £60,905 for Readership appointments. This may be negotiable for an exceptional candidate. Candidates with appropriate academic standing will be appointed at Professorial level.

The University seeks a highly motivated animal scientist in beef production, to join the team supporting Animal Sciences at undergraduate and postgraduate level at the University. The appointee will also provide oversight and advisory services to ABP Food Group's research activities. The University is open to appointing an individual at Senior Lecturer, Reader or Professor level.

Successful candidates will have extensive experience in one of the areas listed below and exposure to the others.

Beef Production Systems
Ruminant Nutrition
Breeding and/or reproduction
Animal Science
