IMAGINE: A Global Initiative for the Empowerment of Women | Appointment of Executive Director

“I am and I can”

We believe that leading IMAGINE is more than a job; it is a calling for a pragmatic visionary and a proven fundraiser who truly believes change is possible.

The opportunity to become Executive Director of IMAGINE requires someone with extraordinary talents and experience. With our Co-Founder, Gail Straub, having brought the concept of IMAGINE to fruition, we are now seeking an Executive Director to scale and grow IMAGINE throughout Africa, India and the Middle East. Your leadership will be critical as the organization builds on its success over the past 10 years. Our next Executive Director will have a vital role in shaping the next chapter of IMAGINE as a critical platform for empowering women throughout the developing world with the agency to transform the cycle of poverty and create thriving lives and communities.

You will help develop and deliver the vision, mission, strategic objectives and operational plans as we build on our success and seek to scale significantly over the coming ten years. Working closely with the founders, you will shape and evolve IMAGINE’s global operations, country scaling strategies, and fundraising approach.  You will have a deep belief in the power of agency as a foundation to personal, community and global transformation.

IMAGINE wishes to encourage applications from experienced senior leaders drawn from a wide variety of backgrounds. You will be a transformative leader with proven experience in scaling programs, operationalizing strategy, and a deep commitment to personal development. You will demonstrate significant experience in leading and managing organizations. The successful candidate will demonstrate a proven track record in fundraising and be highly skilful working within cross-cultural and multi-lingual environments. You will have the ability to build strong relationships across a diverse stakeholder map. Excellent communication skills are essential, alongside a mature optimism and hope for the world.

The closing date for applications is Friday June 19th 2020 at 12 noon EDT.
