As a results-driven and innovative leader, you will enhance and develop high quality inclusive pedagogy, as well as, advance internal and external networks for the benefit of the School and the wider University.

With equality and diversity at its heart, the Vice Chancellor's new Strategic Plan outlines the future for the University. We are an institution with a deep social purpose, we are proud of the diversity of our students and of the positive contribution we make to London and its communities. Seeking out exceptional leaders, researchers and practitioners is in line with the strategic ambitions of our institution. We are evolving and we would like to invite the very best to come and join us.

About the School

The School of Human Sciences is home to over 1400 students and 81 staff. It delivers a portfolio of applied biology, biomedical sciences, chemical and pharmaceutical sciences together with nutrition and dietetics, sports science and therapy courses. Our School equips students with the knowledge and skills they need to accelerate their professional careers.

Our research aspirations are considerable and we are building on the theme of adding social value as well as economic advantage for organisations and individuals alike. The University is therefore working towards a much larger and stronger REF submission than in 2014. We will be recruiting research-focused professors to join the already growing research community at our University.

To support us in our growth, we are looking to appoint a new Head of School of Human Sciences, someone who has vision, a commitment to drive the University forward and is passionate about inclusive education.

We are on a new, exciting pathway that has real focus, energy, passion and momentum behind it.
