Social Development Direct (SDDirect) is a leading provider of high-quality, innovative and expert social development assistance and research services, specialising in gender and inclusion. In March 2020, PIan International UK made its first social impact investment by acquiring SDDirect as a wholly owned subsidiary, bringing together the leading UK girls’ rights INGO with the leading provider in the UK of expert social development assistance, specialising in gender and inclusion. Reporting to the CEO of Plan International UK and the SDDirect Board, the Managing Director will lead the next phase of SDDirect’s development accelerating the organisation’s growth, profitability, influence and impact. You will also lead the development of a strategic plan and provide inspirational leadership to SDDirect’s executive leadership and staff.
This role offers a unique opportunity for a visionary and engaging leader, with ambition, drive and commercial acumen to lead SDDirect through this exciting period of development and growth. You will bring:
