Frensham Heights is a highly distinctive day and boarding school in Surrey welcoming students aged 3 to 18, and offering a well-rounded education that is creative and cultural, as well as academic. With the appointment of Rick Clarke as Head in January 2019, Frensham Heights is now looking to its centenary in 2025 with ambition and its new Chief Operating Officer (COO) will play a key strategic leadership role in helping to position the School for the future.

Reporting to the Head the appointee will offer substantial generalist leadership and management experience gained in complex, multi-stakeholder settings.  He or she will evidence outstanding relationship-building and communication skills, as well as the strategic abilities and entrepreneurial instincts to drive the commercial development of Frensham Heights.  Working closely with the Head and Governors, the new COO will possess a personal ethos of service and the charisma to inspire and further develop an already talented support team at the School. Existing school Bursar experience is not a pre-requisite. Applications are encouraged from candidates with commercial, charitable, private-sector and public-sector backgrounds.
