Tanglin Trust School offers an exceptional all-round international educational experience for over 2,800 students aged 3-18 representing over 50 nationalities.  The School draws on a well-established history of excellence in education, professional and dynamic staff, the commitment and aspirations of the community, and the resources of Singapore in its drive to become the best school in the world.

Tanglin now seeks to appoint a highly experienced Head of Senior School.  The appointee will build on existing strengths to set a new vision for the Senior School designed to enhance Tanglin’s competitive position and help realise ambitious future plans.  S/he will have strategic and operational oversight of a school comprising 1,320 students and will play an integral role in Tanglin’s wider development as a member of the School Leadership and Management Teams led by the Chief Executive Officer, Craig Considine.

The successful candidate will combine an evidenced track record of strategic leadership experience, ideally gained as a Head or highly experienced whole school Deputy Head, with the capacity to work collegially as part of the wider organisation. Warm and charismatic, the new Head will possess the gravitas and interpersonal skills required to engage successfully across the breadth of Tanglin’s internal and external stakeholders.  Cultural awareness and global perspective, as well as a genuine resonance with holistic education are essential.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.  The successful candidate will be required to provide an Enhanced DBS disclosure certificate, or equivalent.
