Curtin University has started a global search for its next Pro Vice-Chancellor of the Faculty of Humanities. Curtin, an emerging leader among global technology universities, is renowned for its intellectual breadth, impactful research and innovative training. With a network of campuses across Western Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, Mauritius and Dubai, Curtin boasts a rich diversity of cultures in its students and staff, and a commitment to serving its communities and partners.

In keeping with this academic culture, the Faculty of Humanities – comprising schools of Education, of Design and the Built Environment and of Media, Creative Arts and Social Inquiry – encompasses an array of applied, interdisciplinary domains and themes ranging from digital design to the digital humanities. Committed to the advancement of knowledge, it is also committed to sharing the benefits of that knowledge with the world, whether through demand-driven research or job-ready students.

The next Pro Vice-Chancellor will be an open, collaborative, strategic leader who, as much as leading a vibrant, heterogeneous Faculty, must help lead Curtin as an important part of the Senior Executive Team. As an accomplished scholar with substantial executive leadership experience, you will be able to inspire passionate staff and students while enacting an inclusive vision to help keep Curtin at the forefront of research and education in the next decade, and in doing so help ‘Make Tomorrow Better’.
