ClimateWorks Foundation is a global organization committed to the mission of ending the climate crisis by amplifying the power of philanthropy. Since our founding in 2008, we’ve collaborated with foundations, NGOs, and climate leaders around the world to tackle climate change on a global scale. We have awarded over 1,500 grants, worth a total of over $1 billion to more than 500 organizations that advance climate solutions in over 50 countries. We have helped grow the field of climate philanthropy to where it stands today, establishing infrastructure, global networks, and momentum for continued growth. We live and breathe climate philanthropy. To end the climate crisis, we have to move faster, think bigger, and work together. Our collaborative global programs and services scale solutions and produce results that are bending the emissions curve.

We are seeking an outstanding President & CEO to lead ClimateWorks Foundation as we work on our mission to end the climate crisis. The successful President & CEO will be an inspirational and visionary leader, with a demonstrable track record of successful executive leadership in organizations dealing with climate/environment or intersecting global challenges. A compelling and persuasive advocate with a strong fundraising skillset, our next President & CEO will bring a global outlook, experience of working internationally, and will have built impactful coalitions and partnerships across sectors and geographies. We are seeking a decisive, strategic, agile thinker, with excellent analytical skills. The successful candidate will bring a track record of driving innovation and change, and an empowering approach to lead our team of high-calibre experts. Alongside a clear commitment to our mission, the President & CEO of ClimateWorks Foundation will have lived experience with, or authentic attention to, diverse, inclusive, equitable and justice-based approaches and issues.
