We are seeking a strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team as a creator, enabler, preserver and reporter of value for the organization. The CFO is the senior executive leader for U.S. and global financial operations and control, strategy, IT, risk management and compliance. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the CFO is a key member of the global Leadership Team and is the principal liaison to the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors. They will supervise a global finance team based primarily in Little Rock, Arkansas. The CFO plays a lead role in ensuring the fiscal integrity and vitality of the organization in a changing landscape where volatility, uncertainty, risk, ambiguity and disruption are becoming prevalent.

The successful candidate will be an experienced financial professional who shares our values, is excited by our mission and possesses excellent communication and strategic planning skills. The next CFO will be results driven, collaborative and capable of effectively managing complexity. Experience with capital investment, 990 reporting, ecommerce, information technology, and working in multiple sectors are major pluses.

This is a full-time position reporting to the CEO. Location in Little Rock is strongly preferred, or in the U.S. with frequent travel to Little Rock and international travel, as needed. Heifer International is currently working 100% remotely during the COVID-19 pandemic.
