The College of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine (CMVM) is a large and dynamic organisation operating at the highest levels of research excellence.  It is similar in size to a small university while being an integral part of the University of Edinburgh, working closely with our other two Colleges. We are ranked in the top 5 for veterinary medicine and top 20 for medicine in the world in Times Higher and QS rankings and first for both medicine and veterinary science in the Guardian Best UK Universities 2022.

This is a key role in the senior leadership and management of the College of Medicine & Veterinary Medicine, with strategic and budgetary responsibilities and overall leadership of operations, as well as representing the College at a senior level within the University.

We are seeking an outstanding individual to provide strategic, operational and management leadership and work closely with the Head of College to deliver the College’s objectives. They will need to evidence extensive experience operating at a strategic management level, high level analytical and negotiating skills and excellent people and resource management skills
