We are embarking on the next exciting phase of our strategic development, under the leadership of our new Vice-Chancellor, Professor Martin Jones, our current Deputy Vice-Chancellor, who takes up post in January 2022. In readiness for this, we are making important changes to the senior leadership team of the University and are seeking to make a number of high-profile appointments including the role of Deputy Vice-Chancellor.
As the sole Deputy to the Vice-Chancellor, this post is pivotal in realising the University’s ambition to be the UK’s foremost digital higher education institution, with a wide portfolio of responsibility including the areas of academic portfolio, league table performance, research, internationalisation and global connectivity across the full breadth of the University’s operations. The Executive Deans, working within the newly aligned three school model, would also report to the role of DVC.
Candidates will have a strong personal academic and research standing and demonstrable senior leadership experience in higher education, with evidence of leading and delivering substantial cultural change with impact.
