After the successful tenure of Dr Robin Niblett CMG, Chatham House is seeking a new Director and Chief Executive. Providing strategic direction to the Institute and fostering a culture of excellence and debate, the Director plays an important role on the world stage.
In a period of rapid change and uncertainty, Chatham House will need to continue to be active and innovative in sustaining its impact and influence. The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate the experience and qualities necessary to build an effective and collegial structure and culture, and to provide strategic direction to a large, complex and diverse organisation. They will have intellectual leadership and credibility as a commentator on world affairs, with the ability to take a broad view and identify key emerging themes. They will be an energetic and persuasive cultivator of donors and stakeholders, with the proven ability to act as an effective ambassador and fundraiser for Chatham House.
