Sir William Perkins’s School (SWPS) is an historic and highly successful day school in Chertsey, Surrey welcoming students aged 11 to 18. Offering a well-rounded education that is academically challenging as well as rich in cultural and creative experiences, SWPS is deliberately focussed on preparing young women to be industrious and confident in an ever-changing world.

SWPS is in the process of an extensive re-branding exercise, the School will enter an exciting new phase in its development and now seeks to appoint a well-qualified and self-motivated individual to the post of Director of Marketing and Admissions. Working closely with the School community and reporting directly to the Head as part of the Senior Leadership Team, the appointee will play a vital part in leveraging the success of the imminent launch. The Director will play a pivotal role in bringing together Marketing and Admissions activities across the School, including playing a key role in the planning and execution of events to mark SWPS 300th Anniversary in 2025. The successful will applicant develop and lead a coherent, dynamic and contemporary marketing and admissions strategy for the School as it enters a new chapter.

This leadership position will suit an experienced and creative professional with a proven track record within a sales and marketing related context. The appointee will possess excellent relationship-building and leadership skills as well as innovative marketing abilities and the entrepreneurial instincts to ensure SWPS continues to thrive.

Experience of working within an educational environment is not essential. The role would also suit an exceptional individual with similar commercial sales and marketing experience gained outside the sector, but who has an instinctive feel for the independent schools market and shares SWPS’s vision for 21st century girls’ education, combined with the relevant transferable skills to undertake this multifaceted and rewarding role.
