London Hockey Is Looking to Appoint New Independent Co-Opted Board Members
London Hockey is one of the eight new Areas responsible for delivering hockey activity on behalf of our governing body, England Hockey. We aim to provide the best possible hockey experience in Greater London for all existing participants, from players and clubs to volunteers, officials and those new to hockey.
We work closely with clubs, schools and local organisations to develop and grow the sport by offering a wide range of opportunities to play hockey. Our aim is to ensure that everyone in the Greater London Area has access to the sport and can participate on and off the field in a meaningful way.
To help us achieve our ambitions, we are looking to recruit two independent co-opted board members that share our values, can help us to fulfil our mission and ensure we benefit from appropriate oversight and the very best governance.
We welcome all applications, particularly those from individuals with professional experience in one of the following areas:
Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and/or widening participation.
Marketing, Communications and Partnerships.
