The race is on to limit global warming to 1.5°C and prevent the worst effects of climate change. Can you help us step up the pace?

The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) drives ambitious climate action in the private sector by enabling the world’s biggest and most impactful companies to set science based emissions reduction targets.

As a collaboration between CDP, the United Nations Global Compact, World Resources Institute (WRI) and the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) and one of the We Mean Business Coalition commitments, the SBTi is one of the world’s most respected climate initiatives. And we’re in an exciting period of exponential growth, thanks to US$37 million scale-up funding from IKEA Foundation, Bezos Earth Fund and Laudes Foundation.

We’re strengthening our Executive Leadership Team to support this growth and maximise our impact, and are looking for a skilled and collaborative Compliance Director.

Reporting to the CEO, the Compliance Director will support the consolidation of SBTi systems and processes, guaranteeing we are adhering to best practices and following internal policies, and ultimately consolidating our position as the most credible standard-setter for corporate climate action.

The science is clear – we must urgently work towards preventing the devastating effects of climate change. By increasing corporate ambition, the SBTi mobilizes the private sector to take the lead in climate action.
