Youth Business International brings together organisations with aligned goals to develop and scale the most effective solutions to the critical challenges facing young entrepreneurs and catalyse positive change in entrepreneurship culture. We are a global network of expert organisations in over 65 countries supporting underserved young people to turn their ideas into successful businesses, creating jobs and strengthening communities.
Locally rooted and locally led, we have a diverse range of members, ranging from training organisations, microfinance institutions, mentoring specialists to business associations and incubators. They combine deep contextual knowledge with YBI’s sector-leading global expertise and tools to support young people to start or grow a business by delivering a range of practical entrepreneurship support services, from guiding a young person to register a new business and improving their bookkeeping skills to helping them write a business plan or grow their fledgling business through facilitating access to finance.
We are seeking an outstanding Head of Development and Programmes to prospect and develop partnerships to co-create and manage an exciting portfolio of international programmes with a range of donors. The successful candidate will be creative, tenacious, collaborative and entrepreneurial, with a strong track record in programme management, and development. Under the direction of the Director of Development and Programmes, the post-holder will co-develop and lead the implementation of the partnership strategy which includes the development of new offerings and programme development.

The successful candidate will be able to work remotely, with occasional travel to London for team and organisational meetings. There is also the possibility to work from London office. The salary is £50-55,000 per annum. Benefits include group life insurance, comprehensive family policies and a health cash plan.
Perrett Laver will conduct an executive search process in parallel with the public advertisement of the role. Longlisted candidates will be invited to interview with Perrett Laver in mid -late July and the Selection Panel will subsequently meet to decide upon a final shortlist for the post in early August, following which, interviews with YBI will take place in late August and early September.
