Situated in Lingfield, East Surrey, St Piers are part of Young Epilepsy; the national charity for children and young people living with the condition. Young Epilepsy is passionate about the best interests of the children and young people they support.
St Piers School is a caring, supportive, learning environment for children and young people aged 5 to 19 years; and St Piers College provides a warm, friendly and unique environment for young people aged 19 to 25 years. Our highly experienced and dedicated staff excel in teaching pupils with a range of conditions including epilepsy; autism spectrum condition; as well as students with specific medical or physical requirements.
We are entering an exciting phase in our strategic journey and have created this newly defined Executive Principal role to lead across the critical elements of education, residential care and well-being that together offer a fully integrated approach under the learning offer of St Piers.
We seek a strategic and inspirational leader who will act as an ambassador for St Piers, providing the education and care team with leadership and guidance. Working in collaboration with Mark Devlin, CEO of Young Epilepsy, the appointee will also be a credible and trusted advisor to St Pier’s Educational Governing Body; reporting on St Piers’ strategic and operation development and the delivery of excellent education and care quality St Piers’ future needs.

Following this, Perrett Laver will meet with the Selection Committee to agree upon a longlist of candidates. Longlisted candidates will be invited to discuss the role and their candidature further with Perrett Laver early-mid July.
The Selection Committee will subsequently meet with Perrett Laver to agree the shortlist of candidates who will be invited to final interviews. The final interviews and assessment exercises will take place from end of July.
