The Luminos Fund believes no child should ever be denied the chance to learn.

Launched in 2016, Luminos was founded to scale up our accelerated learning program that enables children who have been kept out of school by conflict or poverty to catch up to grade level and return to mainstream schools – with transformational results. We currently serve children in Ethiopia, Ghana, Lebanon, Liberia, and The Gambia. To date, we have helped more than 152,000 children secure a second chance to learn.

As school reopens across the globe following the COVID-19 pandemic, Luminos is rising to meet the moment – launching new country programs and developing new ways of delivering at scale. With as many as 24 million children at risk of dropping out of school in COVID’s aftermath, our mission has never been more important.

Luminos is looking for an experienced and dynamic Vice President, Programs to contribute to our rapid growth and expansion. Reporting to the CEO, the newly created role of Vice President, Programs will join our senior leadership team and execute against our strategy to reach 200,000 children with joyful, rich education in the next five years. You will develop, articulate and implement the next strategic vision for Luminos programs.

The successful candidate will be a collaborative senior leader who is passionate about ensuring the world’s most vulnerable children get a chance to experience joyful learning. You will bring a passion for developing high impact organizations, and a track record leading and mentoring diverse teams to achieve impact.
