CARE International UK (CIUK) is a member of the global CARE International confederation and plays a major role in achieving CARE’s goals by raising funds for CARE’s work around the world and by providing leadership and expertise on key areas of CARE’s programme work.

We are seeking a resilient and empathetic Chief Executive with proven experience of leading organisations in a complex stakeholder context and challenging market environment, and driving innovation and leading successful transformation processes. Our ideal Chief Executive will share our passion for fighting poverty, and delivering lasting change for vulnerable people around the world.

The successful candidate will be a values-driven leader with a demonstrable commitment to achieving social justice, the empowerment of women and girls, racial justice and decolonizing aid. We are looking for a leader with commercial acumen and exceptional people management skills, a track record of senior leadership experience in a large or complex organisation and experience of senior stakeholder management in international development.

The role is currently remote, with the expectation of future hybrid working within a London based office. The salary band is: £115k - 127k a year.
