We are currently seeking an Independent Governor to support the University as we achieve our Vision 2028, our ambitious strategy to reinvent the University and reimagine the role of Higher Education. Our vision places UEL at the forefront of careers-led education, providing students with a springboard for the jobs and opportunities of the future.

The Board has ultimate responsibility for the Mission, Vision, Values, Ethics, Culture and Corporate Strategy of the University which will be shaped and delivered by the Vice-Chancellor and Chief Executive. Independent Governors share ultimate and collective responsibility, for all the business transacted at the University of East London, and for acting as ambassadors for its work in the outside world.

Presently, we would particularly value applications from those who have expertise in the fields of audit and accountancy.
