Independent Commissioner, Football Regulatory Authority
The Football Association (The FA) is the not-for-profit governing body of football in England. It is responsible for promoting and developing every level of the game, from grassroots through to the professional football.
The Football Regulatory Authority (FRA) is the disciplinary, regulatory, and rule-making function of The FA. The FRA comprises of 12 Commissioners. Four are elected by representatives from the professional game, four are elected by representatives of the national game, and the remaining four members are independent.

The FRA is now seeking to appoint an Independent Commissioner who has relevant sporting and/or regulatory expertise.
The Independent Commissioner will be an active contributor to the activities of the FRA and must demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively and constructively, and to the highest integrity and ethical standards. They will understand sporting and/or regulatory matters and will have a passion for the promotion of greater inclusion in football.
Time Commitment and Remuneration
Meetings of the FRA take place approximately between six to ten times each year (between September and June). These meetings may be held in person or remotely. An attendance fee is payable for Commissioners attending FRA meetings and reasonable expenses may also be reimbursed.
