HIAS has grown rapidly in recent years, extending our reach and amplifying our impact. We are now seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) who will provide leadership and strategic vision to our operations, ensuring our systems and processes are best in class and positioned to effectively support our continued growth. Reporting to the Executive Vice President and serving as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, the COO is responsible for directing and overseeing the functions of: Human Resources; Administration; Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Justice (DEIJ); Organizational Culture and Customer Service; Safety & Security; Procurement, Records, and Information Technology. The COO will ensure these functions interact in a coordinated and supportive manner and with other areas of the organization to fully support and connect HIAS internally in alignment with our mission and strategic goals. Our next COO will be an experienced operations and human resources professional with a track record of effective leadership, strategic planning and change management gained in leading large ($150m or more annual budget) INGOs.
