We are looking to appoint a Pro Vice-Chancellor and Executive Dean for the Faculty of Liberal Arts & Sciences to play a key role in delivering Education without boundaries.

Reporting to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, you will take a lead in ensuring the University delivers an inclusive educational experience which draws on practice based, technology-enhanced learning, with integrated work-based opportunities to prepare our graduates for the world of life and work.

You will ensure the growth of graduate, postgraduate and research programmes, develop our students as industrial leaders of the future and our staff as leading thinkers in their specialist fields.  The successful candidate is expected to develop a strong external profile through partnerships, industry, and community connections, continuing to develop the global presence and impact of the Faculty. 

In collaboration with key colleagues from across the organisation, you will ensure the overall success of the University, supporting the UK’s industrial strategy as well as global economic and social renewal in our local communities and region.
