Coral Vita develops methods needed to address global coral reef decline, growing diverse and resilient corals and outplanting them into degraded reefs at scale.

Coral Vita is a mission driven, for-profit coral reef restoration company that is scaling-up and commercializing innovative coral farming methods to restore dying reefs. Coral Vita was founded by environmental entrepreneurs driven to solve one of our planet's greatest challenges: preserving the reefs we love. Our team of business, policy, and science leaders all share a deep passion for protecting coastal ecosystems and the communities who depend on their critically important values.

Coral Vita is now looking for our first Chief Operating Officer (COO) to support us as we scale our footprint internationally. We are seeking an entrepreneurial and dynamic leader who is passionate about helping to lead Coral Vita’s team in restoring our world’s dying coral reefs, and has the vision, drive, and skills to do so. This is a newly created position that will work closely with the founders and lead the development and execution of a global operational strategy to enhance the scale and impact of our restoration activities through expanding our work to new markets with a growing team.

The successful candidate is an experienced, mission-oriented leader who is passionate about creating structures to make our team more fluid and effective as we scale. They will identify and problem-solve complex, international, and operational challenges as they craft and deliver innovative programs that make Coral Vita an inclusive and phenomenal place to work.

The salary is commensurate with experience and includes a competitive benefits package. The location is flexible, but expect international travel along with significant time spent in Freeport, Grand Bahama. To apply, please submit a CV and a covering letter detailing how you fulfil the role description and personal specification. The deadline for applications is Friday, December 9th at Midnight EST.
