Key to the success of Monash’s Impact 2030 strategic plan is the appointment of an energetic and visionary leader to the position of Pro-Vice-Chancellor (International). Working closely with the Provost, the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (International) will lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the University’s international and global engagement strategy. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving the International elements set out in Impact 2030 and will help to ‘converge’ and coordinate interests across Monash’s global enterprise.

Monash is seeking an exceptional leader with an impressive record of success, demonstrating the ability to achieve the International goal in the context of Impact 2030, and to represent Monash externally at the highest level. The successful candidate will bring the personal presence, intellect, stamina and agility to drive the portfolio’s extensive breadth of activities, ranging from complex operational tasks, managing government relations, to the support for international campuses, revenue generation, strategy setting and the nurturing of diverse international networks.
