We are currently seeking to appoint a Supervisory Board Member to join our passionate, dynamic and collaborative Supervisory Board. You will be a committed individual who will bring your expertise and skills to help us deliver our ambitious strategy and mission. The Supervisory Board supervises and advises the Management Board including approving the strategy, budget and bank’s risk profile as well as overseeing the policy of the Management Board, general developments at FMO and the business connected with it.

We are seeking individuals with a passion for our mission; to empower entrepreneurs to build a better world. You will have a high level of financial and economic expertise, be well informed about the development finance sector and understand the challenges of operating in diverse cross-cultural settings. You will demonstrate excellent business orientation as well as a strong network across international development institutions, civil society and NGOs. You will bring extensive, on the ground, experience as a senior executive in impact investing across a number of sectors and emerging markets – particularly Sub-Saharan Africa and preferably also in South-East Asia.
