Oxfam International seeks to appoint a Chief Information Officer (CIO) who will offer strategic leadership and technical guidance as the organization continues to transform itself to remain relevant, resilient, and impactful into the future. As CIO of Oxfam International, you will be the highest Information Technology leadership role within the confederation. You will be responsible for delivering IT using a rights-based approach against the long-term organization-wide vision and strategy. You will work in collaboration with others to set the strategic direction for and manage the delivery of both the confederation shared systems and Oxfam International’s internal systems. As CIO, you will have complete ownership of the execution of Oxfam’s confederation-wide Information Technology strategy. You will ensure it aligns with our new ‘Fight Inequality’ strategy, the organization’s Strategic Plan, and the delivery of capabilities required to achieve business success. 

As a valued senior leader in Oxfam International, you will participate in and contribute to overall business strategy development, bringing a current knowledge and future vision of leveraging information and technology in business processes, products and services development, and support to provide safe and robust information systems. You will also bring a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, in conjunction with a commitment to creating lasting impact driven by the values of social justice.

Other Oxfam office locations including Oxford and Affiliate Locations +/- 3 hours CET time zone may be considered subject to being able to establish a contract of employment with hosting affiliate and where the right to work is already possessed and can be maintained.

The role will offer competitive salary terms and core benefits package; however, the salary will vary depending on the respective location. Other locations, subject to hosting Oxfam affiliate salary and package offer. Contract is fixed term 4 years; however, this is extendable on agreement.
