About the Role
The incoming Dean of Research has a highly regarded academic reputation and a strong publication record, particularly in the areas of supply chain management, logistics, and operations management. As a key member of the University Executive Board, the Dean of Research will need to be a compelling thought leader capable of serving as the link between KLU´s academic, strategic, and management units.
A central aspect of the role is to keep research at KLU at the highest level, with outputs and outcomes relevant to industry and public policy. In addition, it is essential for the future Dean of Research to have a strong interest in advancing the dissemination of KLU’s research beyond academia to the general public, as well as to be a driving force in attracting third-party funding. The location for this position is Hamburg, Germany.
