About ISAIEG in Guangzhou

ISAIEG has 3 campuses in Guangzhou: ISA Science City, ISA Tianhe, and ISA Liwan. The Head of School will lead ISA Science City or ISA Liwan, depending upon individual fit and preferences:

• ISA Science City International School (Location: Huangpu District, Guangzhou)

ISA Science City School was established in 2020, and it is a fully certified IB World School with full authorization to deliver the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP). The school is ranked among the best international schools in China, and it is situated on a beautiful campus for which ISAIEG holds independent property rights. ISA Science City also offers residential learning to boarding students alongside its day school offerings.

• ISA Liwan School (Location: Liwan District, Guangzhou)

ISA Liwan, established in 2022, is a campus that is home to two new K-12 Schools: ISA Wenhua Liwan School, and ISA Liwan International School. The campus was built by ISA International Education Group with independent property rights. The unique education model of ISA Liwan strives to provide two pathways to university, including international pathways (IB, IGCSE, A Level, AP, International Arts etc.) and domestic pathways (CNC, JEE, DSE etc.). ISA Liwan has also established a strategic partnership with the Guangzhou Foreign Language School. The school has built an excellent team of renowned local teachers, distinguished educators from around China, and professionals from 30 different countries who work together to foster mutual learning and innovation.

About the role

Reporting to the CEO, the Head of School will assume overall responsibility for the school and ensure the standards of teaching and learning at the ISA International School are a benchmark for excellence. The Head of School will direct the work of the ISA Team Leaders to ensure a direct link between pastoral care and academic performance to support excellence and achievement for all pupils. In addition, the Head will support the development of the ISA Flagship K12 school and provide outstanding leadership and professional guidance to the ISA International School Board, the school staff and parent body. The incoming Head will also demonstrate to parents the exemplary quality of education provided to their children at ISA.
