WWF International Secretariat facilitates, and supports the network in the implementation of its global strategies and initiatives, and manages and supports 34 WWF Country Offices. Working with communities, businesses and government, WWF urgently seeks to protect and restore natural habitats, stop the mass extinction of wildlife, and make the way we produce and consume sustainable.
We are currently seeking an exceptional leader with strong management skills to join the Secretariat of WWF International as Global Director of Global Policy Impact (GDGPI). This exciting position requiring a determined and passionate individual with deep knowledge of environmental issues and proven experience in high level policy, and advocacy at national and international level. You will build on the successes of WWF to date and have a proven track record of at least 15 years in policy and advocacy, possess a deep understanding of the global policy stage, negotiation processes, and the political economy. Bringing superlative diplomatic, interpersonal and partnership skills, the Global Director of Global Policy Impact will communicate effectively and build relationships with a broad spectrum of individuals at a high level within a broad range of cultural environments, whilst inspiring staff to work collaboratively towards a shared vision and goal.
